The Muse Must Work

“The Muse Must Work” is an annual national competition for young artists, run by the St. Petersburg creative cluster ArtMuza. The selected works are shown at a final exhibition in the cluster’s own space.

Katerina took part in the 2016–2017 season and showed two works from 2015 at the final exhibition — “The Room of Memories” and “While the Light Is On”. Both are dense interior compositions assembled from many small scenes, objects and figures.
