Colour and You
“Colour and You” is an exhibition about colour speaking on our behalf. Callas against a dark ground, bouquets, female figures, greenery outside the window: the canvases were painted as a continuation of the space itself — light, green, domestic.
The show filled the rooms of the Ukrop café and was extended twice: the works turned out to belong to those walls so naturally that guests stopped at every one of them.
Guests of the café stopped spellbound at every work, reading the labels instead of the menu. The quintessence of youth, love and tenderness gathered in them is like a self-portrait of the artist herself.
