About this piece

An original acrylic painting about childhood, the anticipation of the holidays, and that special feeling when a miracle is just around the corner. At the center of the composition is a girl in a bright red cardigan, sitting among holiday gifts. She holds a beautifully wrapped gift in her hands, surrounded by colorful boxes, a wooden rocking horse, fir branches, and holiday decorations. The painting's main theme is anticipation. The gift hasn't been opened yet, the holiday hasn't begun yet, but the joy is already present in this moment. This brief moment when imagination overpowers reality, and it seems that anything is possible.
